A Wilder Way to Learn

Curious by Nature

Curious by Nature

Wild & Wise is an outdoor, all-weather program. We embrace the changing seasons and believe there’s something worth discovering in sunshine, drizzle, mud, and everything in between. Children should arrive dressed for the day’s weather and ready to get a little wild.

Driven by Curiosity

Our teaching begins with wonder. We follow children’s questions, interests, and discoveries, allowing their curiosity to guide us toward deeper learning.

The garden, mud kitchen, workshop, and natural world become the classroom. We count seeds and measure what grows, explore volume while pouring in the mud kitchen, investigate insects and changing seasons, build and test our ideas, prepare food from the garden, and create with our hands.

Stories, songs and games are woven through our days, giving children another way to make meaning, build language, share traditions, spark imagination, and connect with one another and the world around them.

Through these everyday experiences, math, literacy, science, creativity, practical life, and social-emotional learning naturally intertwine — because the best learning often happens when we’re busy exploring something we care about.
